Lunchtime Seminar

Iain King presented his account of the Rosslyn Chapel Lecture 'Revisiting Hallowed Ground: Stonework Conservation Then and Now' by Oliver Caroe to the wider office at a lunchtime this week. We were delighted to have Dr Peter Burman MBE and Nic Boyes input into the presentation and share in our thinking.

The seminar asked how conservationists should respond to decisions made by others in the past and how this can be reconciled in our own approach. The key learning was understanding the value of what we do now and its implications, whilst appreciating and responding to previous decisions.
