New Project: Sir Charles Lyell Centre

We have been appointed in the successful Gardiner and Theobald led team by Heriot Watt University and the British Geological Survey to design a new centre for earth and marine science and technology. The Charles Lyell Centre will be one of Europe’s leading centres for research and expertise in the earth and marine sciences, creating a world-leading research cluster to tackle major issues of natural resource and energy supply in a responsible and sustainable way.

The design team led by Gardiner & Theobald project management, comprises Page\Park Architects, Gardiner & Theobald Quantity Surveyor, ARUP Structural and M&E engineers, and Ian White Associates Landscape Architects. The £17million complex is scheduled to be completed in 2015 at Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh campus.
