Gavin Stamp

Sorry to hear of the passing of Gavin Stamp. During his stay in Glasgow Gavin was incredibly influential in resurrecting concern for the historical fabric and in particular the legacy of Greek Thomson and Gillespie Kidd and Coia.

Very sad to hear of Ian Begg’s passing. Whilst Ian’s adherence to an historical architectural language was perhaps not to everyone’s taste, his zeal and commitment to building from first principles was unwavering. His advocacy and vision for Scotland will be missed.
