Scottish Home Awards 2016

Our recently completed Parkview Housing project for Whiteburn Developments was awarded Small Housing Development of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards 2016 last night. The project involved the conversion of a category B listed former girls reform school in the west end of Dundee into 29 residential units which take advantage of the spectacular outlook to the Firth of Tay. A series of new build flats and mews houses have also been constructed to the east of the former school, designed to echo the scale and stepped language of the historic building. The stepped form minimises the impact of the new development on the site and enabled the existing mature trees to remain undistrubed.
