Urban Designer - Architectural Assistant (Part II)
2017 - present
"Architecture fits within the wider context of its neighbourhood, community and environment. An understanding of the broader context and its history, economics, politics and form is essential before planning new interventions. "
Isabelle joined Page\Park in July 2017, having graduated in Urban Design (MSc) from the Urban Design Unit at the University of Strathclyde in 2016, where she received a commendation from the RTPI West of Scotland for her MSc project. Prior to this, she undertook her architectural education at National School of Architecture of Paris Val-de-Seine in 2015 (MArch – Diplome d’état d’Architecte DEA), where she received distinctions for her masters project. Since joining Page\Park as an architectural assistant, Isabelle has energised her projects and colleagues with her eye for quality urban design, quickly becoming an integral and valued member of the practice’s City and Land team.
Having studied both architecture and urban design, Isabelle has well-developed skills working at different scales, evident in her work on the Scotland Street project. Providing drawing support to the project architect, Isabelle has demonstrated her skills in the use of Revit software from a masterplan scale, to the refurbishment and adaptation of listed industrial buildings on the site. Through working on a number of campus development plans, she has developed refined processes for modelling and visualising masterplans, enabling the exploration of massing studies in three dimensions, and the examination of the placemaking benefits of layout options.Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
