Deconstructing the Classroom

The learning experience is evolving. How we learn is becoming as important as what we learn and traditional roles of teacher and pupil are changing to reflect that.
However, most of our learning spaces do not yet reflect this evolution. Could we deconstruct the classroom and reassemble it to encourage a better way to learn?
