With the Scottish Government’s net-zero emissions target for 2045, we see stakeholders in the built environment prioritising more sustainable approaches to the building-cycle. Equally, the industry is pushing for more re-use of existing buildings which often hold historical significance or heritage value.
When it comes to net-zero heritage projects, a tension between intervention required for safeguarding a building’s significance and intervention required for low embodied and operational carbon creates difficulties and challenges in practice.
In a spirit of knowledge-sharing and collaboration, Page\Park is hosting a panel night to openly discuss these challenges from the perspective of different built environment professionals.
Come along and join in on our discussion!
