Alistair King

Architect · Joined 1998

We should not forget that we play a key role in nurturing a dignified and civic society.

Alistair joined Page\Park in 1998 with sixteen years’ experience, principally in residential and conservation projects. In the time since, Alistair has established himself as one of our most experienced and knowledgeable architects. A highly regarded team member, Alistair has served as employee elected director and has been a trusted mentor for architects undertaking professional qualifications.

Alistair is particularly recognised for his technical expertise in conservation. His experience ranges from leading conservation fabric works in listed buildings, to designing new interventions in sensitive contexts and conversions of heritage structures to other uses. When working in contemporary settings, has demonstrated the same skill in adapting and transforming existing buildings while overcoming substantial technical challenges.  Alistair has pushed for integration of health and safety into our design work, with early consideration of the wider logistical needs in our projects within historic structures and live environments.

Since 2008 Alistair has been Page\Park’s CDM Manager, coordinating all aspects relating to health and safety and the practice’s duties as designers under the CDM 2015 Regulations. He coordinates in-house training and supervises our health & safety procedures and policies to the level required for membership of Acclaim, a SSIP organisation and oversees and reviews all work in relation to health & safety being carried out by our project architects.
