Architect · Joined 2023

I have a passion for refurbishment/re-use projects with the long term goal of becoming a registered Conservation Architect.

David graduated from Sheffield University in 2011 and qualified through the RIBA North West in 2015. Since qualifying David has worked on many award winning projects in the Yorkshire region, including Scarborough Market Hall, Tophill Low Nature reserve, The Tetley and Whitby Street Studios.

David works closely with the contractors and specialist sub-contractors to ensure design quality is championed throughout a project and preserved through to delivery. His construction experience spans across different sectors and methods, with an expertise of working with new build and heritage buildings to provide long term sustainable solutions. Since recently joining Page\Park David’s role has been as Project Architect on Leeds Town Hall. Here he is overseeing the delivery of a complicated refurbishment of the existing building to create a new vibrant performance venue.

A particular interest of David’s is in refurbishment/re-use projects, this has lead to him start the RIBA conservation course with the long term goal of becoming a registered Conservation Architect.

David was awarded the RIBA North East Architect of the year in 2021 for the delivery of The Whitby Street Studios in Hartlepool. David’s eye for detail is visible on the projects he has delivered, most recently the extension and refurbishment for the Grade II listed former Post Office in Hartlepool. The project unifies the existing post office with a modern but complementary extension to the rear.
