Architect · Joined 2005

Underlying every building we make is a structural skeleton. By crafting elegant structural geometries, seemingly complex forms become easy to construct.

Jamie joined Page\Park in 2005 while studying at the University of Strathclyde, and returned in 2007 following completion of his post graduate diploma. He studied Building Design Engineering, which combined traditional architectural teaching with a grounding in structural and environmental engineering. As a result, Jamie is highly skilled in understanding all technical aspects of building design, and promotes innovation and rigorous technical solutions on all of the projects he works on. In addition Jamie became an accredited Passive House Designer in 2021.

Jamie is one of our most experienced project architects, having successfully delivered award winning buildings in various sectors, including The Theatre Royal foyer extension in Glasgow, and The Hawkhead day centre for Scottish War Blinded in Paisley. He is currently the principal architect for a number of projects at University of Edinburgh, which include the refurbishment and retrofit of Category A&B listed buildings.

Jamie is our office Quality Manager and oversees the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 accreditation). He also plays a key role in our sustainability group and internal design review process.

He has also held the role of employee elected trustee since 2019.
