Finbarr O’Dempsey joined Page\Park’s Glasgow office in 2018.

A core member of the practice’s Education & Workplace teams, Finbarr has a broad range of experience working with a variety of higher education and independent school clients. This includes supporting the design and delivery of the multiple award-winning Campus Central project at the University of Stirling, shortlisted for the 2023 Doolan Award.

Alongside education work, Finbarr has a passion for creating spaces for the visual arts, music, and performance. He previously held a collaborative 4-year Open Space residency with Aldeburgh Music culminating in a touring music installation, Permutations. At Page\Park he has been involved in projects with the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and the Marchmont Makers Foundation.

Finbarr studied architecture at the University of Cambridge, London Metropolitan University & RIBA North West graduating with First-Class Honours and Distinction. He taught as a design tutor at the University of Cambridge and has been guest critic at several schools of architecture nationally. He has contributed to a variety of festivals and public events run by well-known cultural organisations including the British Council, London Festival of Architecture & Architecture Fringe, Scotland.

He was shortlisted for Young Architect of the Year in the 2023 Scottish Design Awards.
