Louis Aston

Part II Architectural Assistant · Joined 2025

Art and Architecture provide the opportunity to enrich, learn and diversity our experience and attitudes for the environment around us.

Initially joining Page\Park while undertaking his Masters in Architecture part-time at the Glasgow School of Art, Louis has previously worked in design studios in Scotland and the Netherlands. He is driven by curiosity and feels personally responsible to leave the world a better place with people, place-making, and sense of ownership at the centre of each project.

Most recently at Page\Park he has been working on Fyvie Castle, a major conversation project putting his previous experience and sensitive approach to craft beautiful but simple solutions to complex problems.

Alongside his studies and professional experience, Louis was part of a shared artist residency with New Practice and Karakusevic Carson Architects hosting a panel event and exhibition discussing gentrification of deprived neighbourhoods in both London and Glasgow.  A recipient of the RSA John Kinross Scholarship, Louis travelled, lived, and studied in Italy undertaking research into community and the impact of tourism developing his practice with work accessioned into the Royal Scottish Academy. He was also invited by Academy for Architectural Culture to participate in an international design residency hosted by the Wood Art Institute in Hamburg, Germany and most recently, Missing In Architecture as a guest for collaborative design event ‘Food for thought’ and the Mackintosh School of Architecture contributing to academic practice across post-graduate programs.
